Ukraine and neo-Nazis

Ever since serious protest broke out in Ukraine in February the Western mainstream media, particularly in the United States, has seriously downplayed the fact that the usual suspects – the US/European Union/NATO triumvirate – have been on the same side as the neo-Nazis. In the US it’s been virtually unmentionable. I’m sure that a poll taken in the United States on this issue would reveal near universal ignorance of the numerous neo-Nazi actions, including publicly calling for death to “Russians, Communists and Jews”. But in the past week the dirty little secret has somehow poked its head out from behind the curtain a bit. Lire la suite »

NATO summit in Cardiff. D.R.

Herbert E. Meyer, a nutcase who was a special assistant to the CIA director for a period during the Reagan administration, has penned an article calling for Russian President Putin’s assassination. If we have “ to get him out of the Kremlin feet-first with a bullet hole in the back of his head, that would be okay with us.” http://www.americanthinker.com/2014/08/how_to_solve_the_putin_problem.html
As the crazed Meyer illiustrates, the insanity that Washington has released upon the world knows no restraint. Jose Manual Barroso, installed as Washington’s puppet as European Commission President, misrepresented his recent confidential telephone conversation with Russia’s President Putin by telling the media that Putin issued a threat: “If I want to, I can take Kiev in two weeks.” Lire la suite »

Norman Solomon : «Nous devons défier la puissance destructrice de l’état de guerre.» D.R.

English version here: https://mohsenabdelmoumen.wordpress.com/2014/04/13/norman-solomon-to-algeriepatriotique-no-leader-has-undermined-the-right-as-obama/

David Swanson D.R.

Mohsen Abdelmoumen: You are the most active and the most coherent anti-war activist in the United States today. How analyze you the situation in Syria ?

David Swanson : It’s a major humanitarian crisis – in other words : a war, fueled on both sides by outside arms and ammunition.  It will be deescalated by deescalating it, halting the flow of arms, creating a ceasefire, even an imperfect one at first, and negotiating a settlement.  It will not be improved by further escalation or prolongation of the violence.
